Sacrilege

Walking past the churchyard, deep in the shade of a great yew tree, I spy a pretty tabby cat, with white socks, shitting on someone’s grave.

hahah!
this is great.

I see three scenarios here:
A) is this cat paying homage by fertilizing the flowers so the dead will be honored forever?

B) is it perhaps making his opinion on the character of this person known?

C) or is it just evacuating its bowels?

I kinda like the romantic interpretation, A.

Thanks for this great image!!!

It was the perky expression on the cat's face that really got me.

Most welcome. Thanks for dropping by.

I assume it was a freshly dug grave? Cats do so love fresh turned earth!

I just thought of the symbolism of the cat guarding someone it cared about.

I think the cat was shitting on the grave of her dead owner who used to buy generic supermarket own brand catfood instead of Sheba and premium brand catfood that kitties with white socks so rightly deserve.

Did you wait to watch it bury its business?

Actually, that's rather a nice sentence. I'll have to find some way of using it...

Actually, it was a most ancient one - Victorian, I think.

Thanks for dropping by!

I think it just needed a crap.

Emma
Excuse me, I have to go buy posh catfood.

Quinky
Ugh. No, I did not. I dread to think where you'll use that sentence.
